In thispaperwefocustoapplytheSRtasktothescintigraphicimaging.Specifically,itisdescribedasa patentedmethodthatusesaHighResolutionScintigraphicCamera(HRSC)tocollectandprocessasetof scintigraphicimages,inviewofobtainingaveryhighresolutionimage. The HRSCdevice,whichiscurrentlyusedinMedicalImaging,isbasedonaparallelsquareholes collimatorandonaHamamatsuH8500PositionSensitivePhotomultiplierTubes(PSPMT). The SSRmethodisappliedtothesyntheticimagesofthreedifferentphantoms,toverifytheeffective spatialresolutionvalues.Theresultsconfirmthatitispossibletoachieveoptimalspatialresolutionvalues at differentdepths,usefulinsmallobjectandsmallanimalimaging.
