Based on the analysis of the exhibition " Elements of architecture", exposed to Biennale di Architettura 2014 in Venice, it was developed the idea of an essay that explores in most scientific areas, through the process of designing, an approach that starts from the definition of the element and ends to the complex system of architectural work . The question is what has always been crucial in design and what the environmental emergency has, in recent years, focused attention .The reflections are the result of a cross-curricular and interdisciplinary debate that converges in particular to redefine the relationship between the fields of design and architecture technology approach to contemporary design.
