Abstract
Origen in Caesarea Maritima was engaged on two fronts: teaching in a school of Christian theology and preaching. The first task involved the careful study of the Bible and then the debate, but also the cooperation, with Jewish rabbis. In the Homilies prevails instead the anti-Jewish polemic, which is explained by the closeness between Jews and Christians in the multicultural environment of Caesarea.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
