Tivoli. Ricerche nell’area archeologica del criptoportico di Piazza D. Tani

Recent inspections of the so called “Criptoportico di Piazza Domenico Tani” in Tivoli lead to increase knowledge of the great building, and to the discovery of previously unknown archaeological structures covering a wide space of time from the middle republican period until the late imperial period, down to the medieval era. New findings have helped clarify certain topographical aspects of the western side of the ancient city forum.
