Cosa significa essere «realisti» in morale?

Realism may not be compatible with a moral perspective, if the wakeup call to reality means that nothing makes anymore any difference to us. Thus, realism pictures an indifferent world that, as such, is void of value. Endorsing a purely ontological point of view, it deflates every moral evaluation. Moral Platonism, on the other hand, is a reaction to this reductionism. However, by defending flatly the reality of moral entities, one takes the risk of making this reality one more time indifferent to us, that is to say, insensitive to the concrete differences we make and that constitute the fabric of moral life. Rejecting both postures, the paper advocates a realism that places moral reality in those very differences we make in context.
