Architecture for co-development: teaching and research

This contribution illustrates how consolidated educational activity, the Level 2 Master in Architecture for Health of the Sapienza University of Roma, which has trained 114 architects and engineers from countries considered a priority by cooperation policies has generated over 10 years a close network of institutional relationships that have allowed the development of other activities both in education and in research. The principal ‘actions’ and ‘products’ generated by the network are illustrated following a temporal development, underlining how these have gone hand in hand with a constant undertaking on the part of some of the teachers involved in the educational process and with a growing interest and attention on the part of the Sapienza and its structures to the themes of cooperation and internationalisation.
