This is a report on Italy in a European conference on the political opposition . We examine the reasons for the failure to recognize systematically the Opposition in the first and second party system , the first partial forms implemennted and the prospects that are opened with the ongoing constitutional reform

Si tratta della relazione sull'Italia a un convegno europeo sull'opposizione politica. Si esaminano le ragioni del mancato riconoscimento sistematico dell'opposizione nel primo e nel secondo sistema dei partiti, le prime forme parziali in cui si è concretizzato e le prospettive ulteriori che si aprono con la riforma costituzionale in itinere.
