Some remarks on the relationship between rock art and landscape in the Tadrart Acacus mountain (Fezzan-Libyan Sahara) are here proposed. The recent surveys of the geoarchaeology (M.Cremaschi, A.Zerboni) and rock art analysis (D.Zampetti) team of the Italian-Libyan joint mission in the Acacus and Messak of the Sapienza University of Rome have been accomplished using a geomorphological and a territorial approach. The five styles so far recognised by F.Mori (1965) are analysed both in connection with the morphology of the sites and the landscape features. This permits to observe some differences among the various stylistic contexts both as concerns the organization of the figures on the rock walls and the territorial distribution of the sites.

Abstract
This permits to observe some differences among the various stylistic contexts both as concerns the organization of the figures on the rock walls and the territorial distribution of the sites.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
