I rapporti fra Santa Sede e Germania nazista negli anni della nunziatura di Pacelli. Note su una recente indagine

The article analyzes the points made by Hubert Wolf in his book "The pope and the devil" on Pacelli as representative of the Holy See for German affairs at the time of the Nunciature as well as Secretary of State of Pius XI. Analysis is performed by comparing Wolf's theses with those of other authors, who have recently investigated the relationship Catholic Church-Nazism on the basis of new documentary data emerged from the opening of the Vatican Secret Archives.

L’articolo analizza le tesi espresse da Hubert Wolf nel suo libro Il papa e il diavolo su Pacelli come referente della Santa Sede per gli affari di Germania all’epoca della nunziatura e in qualità di Segretario di Stato di Pio XI e le mette a confronto con il giudizio di altri autori, che di recente hanno indagato il rapporto Chiesa cattolica-nazismo sulla base dei nuovi dati documentari emersi dall’apertura dell’Archivio Segreto Vaticano.
