Fattori psicogenetici dell'asma:ricerca clinica su 60 casi

The authors examined 60 children (age:6 months-5 years), 30 with serious bronchial asthma (4/5 attacks yearly) for which they were treated in the out- patient service of a public hospital, and 30 without specific respiratory diseases, chosen at random. A focalized clinical interview and a questionnaire, filled out by children's parents, were used to evaluate mother-child relationship during the first years of life. The authors stress the correlation between the psychogenic factors of asthma and the conflictual communication in mother-child relationship due to mother's inattention toward the child's biological rhythms.
