Abstract
The purpose of this research is to clarify what are dual-use technologies, which are contexts where dual-use technologies are developed and exploited and critical issues related to the management of dual-use technological innovations in the R&D and industrialization processes. The methodology used is a systematic literature review and an empirical investigation through interviews with stakeholders’ representatives. We identified some organizational and management key factors in the innovation process of dual-use technologies belonging to three interconnected critical areas: R&D and technological transfer, heterogeneity of stakeholders and legal issues. Finally we suggest future research patterns and opportunities for academic insights, for practitioners and R&D European PoliciesI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
