Dyadic Green’s functions for an electric dipole source over an homogenized anisotropic metasurface are obtained using generalized sheet transition conditions. The homogenized Green’s functions can efficiently model the near-field point source excitation of typical metasurface structures. The results of the proposed method have been validated by comparison with a fullwave array scanning method.

Abstract

Dyadic Green’s functions for an electric dipole source over an homogenized anisotropic metasurface are obtained using generalized sheet transition conditions. The homogenized Green’s functions can efficiently model the near-field point source excitation of typical metasurface structures. The results of the proposed method have been validated by comparison with a fullwave array scanning method.
