Plato's Republic does not cease to raise a wide debate, both from the point of view of the ethical and political project that it sketches, and from the point of view of its psychological, epistemological and ontological implications. I propose here to present and discuss some of the issues developed by commentators and interpreters in the twentieth century, mostly focusing on Plato's conception of the nature and structure of the kallipolis.

Abstract
Plato's Republic does not cease to raise a wide debate, both from the point of view of the ethical and political project that it sketches, and from the point of view of its psychological, epistemological and ontological implications. I propose here to present and discuss some of the issues developed by commentators and interpreters in the twentieth century, mostly focusing on Plato's conception of the nature and structure of the kallipolis.File allegati a questo prodotto
