In the plankton of six coastal lakes of Latium (named Fogliano, Monaci, Caprolace, Sabaudia, Fondi, Lungo) were found 21 species of marine Dinophyta. Fourteen species are unknown to the coastal lakes of Latium. The distinctive features of the species and some morphometric and ecological data for the characterization of the examined lakes are given.
