Introduction: In Italy, following the issuance of MURST decree of November 3, 1999, n.5095 (Reform of the 3 +2), to obtain the title of Physiotherapist there is a course of study lasting three years (Bachelor Level I) and the ability to access a Master’s degree (Master Magistrale, former Specialist Level II), after passing an admission test. The free movement of professionals is one of the hubs of European integration. The Direttive relating to systems of recognition of qualifications guarantee the right of access to employment, if they are satisfied with the qualitative and quantitative criteria laid down by the Community rules relating to the theoretical and practical knowledge that the graduate should possess. In Europe, the Degree in Physiotherapy is present in 33 States, of which only one, the duration is three years, in others the predominant cycle is that of the 4 +2 (12 countries). Objective: The objective of this work is to verify whether the Triennial Degree of Nursing and Rehabilitation provide the knowledge needed to pass the test for admission to Master’s Degree. Methods: We conducted a prospective observational study of 269 third-year students enrolled in one of the Degrees of Level I Class Rehabilitation at “La Sapienza” – University of Rome, who were administered a questionnaire with the characteristics of the test ministerial input. Our test consists of 32 questions of Theory / Practice of Discipline Specification (MATERIAL 1), 10 questions of Professional Regulation Exercise (MATERIAL 3), 10 questions of Culture Science-Mathematics, Statistics (MATERIAL 4) and 10 applications Humanities and Social Sciences, Management Sciences (MATERIAL 5). Results: The Correlation Index total, obtained from the comparison between the sum of the credits in the three subjects with the sum of the scores of the same, has a value of r = 0.196928 (weakly correlated variables). The values of r are given for each degree course and for each matter. Conclusions: The results can be seen be a weak correlation between the hours of teaching (CFU) provided for each subject investigated and level of performance. The greatest percentage of error has also been observed in Matter 3 (Regulation of Exercise Training), and in particular the questions in which students have had more difficulty in meeting regarding informed consent and medical ethics principles. These results could be a handicap for access to the Second Level Degree possession of which, in addition to equipararci to states where it is referred to a higher education, would likely a direct recognition of a degree, a necessary condition for giving effect to the principle of free movement of professionals in the member states of the European Union.
