In this work we study associations between household types and economic conditions in Europe. Our aim is to explore the distribution of economic resources available to different types of households and how such resources vary by households structure. We make a comparison among EU member states to investigate whether and how the associative patterns between household types and economic circumstances vary by country. The analysis is carried out by means of Multiple Correspondence Analysis on data from EU-SILC 2008.

Our aim is to explore the distribution of economic resources available to different types of households and how such resources vary by households structure. We make a comparison among EU member states to investigate whether and how the associative patterns between household types and economic circumstances vary by country.
