An analysis of the Dantesque metaphor of «ombra d’Argo» (Pd. 33, 94-99) is presented here and is interpreted through the concept of ad-miratio and its semantic value, technical use and continuity with the mystic thematic of suspensio mentis. The image of “bird Beatrice” (Pd. 23, 1-15) and Richard St. Victor represent respectively the perspective (-memorial) anticipation and the most likely lexical and doctrinal source of inspiration.
Attraverso il concetto di ad-miratio, di cui si rilevano la valenza semantica, gli usi tecnici e la contiguità con la tematica mistica della suspensio mentis, il contributo propone un’analisi della metafora dantesca dell’«ombra d’Argo» (Pd. 33, 94-99) per la quale sono riconosciuti nell’immagine di “Beatrice-uccello” (Pd. 23, 1-15) e in Riccardo di San Vittore rispettivamente l’anticipazione prospettica (-memoriale) e la più probabile fonte d’ispirazione lessicale e dottrinale.
