Problems of landscape degradation in Prespa National Park

The paper analyses the actual and future dynamics of landscape degradation and desertification process in Prespa National ParK, a park of particular scientific, ecological and tourist values. Though in represents a protected area, these process are not only present, but in many sectors they show a vast extension and intensity seriously riscing its values. Therefore detalied studies of degradation factors, conditions and intensity, as well as the definition of protection measurements are necessary. The paper attempts to hihhlight the landscape degration as a real risk and to define the relation between the impact of nstural and human factors on the degree of lanscapedegradation. This wil be helpfulin the elaboration of accurate management plans for this proctected area.
