This paper deals with the recycling of bottom ash coming from gasification process. Nowadays, gasification process starts from collecting MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) and ends with the bottom ash (GA-BA) disposal. In the field of road construction, the technical performance of mixtures containing GA-BA is limited by its grading, generally similar to sand. The solution is mixing GA-BA with other aggregates to reach the properties of the traditional materials. This study’s purpose is to obtain good performance with mixtures completely made of waste materials. The experimental results show that GA-BA can be successfully mixed with C&D (Construction and Demolition waste) and RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) to produce sub-base layer. Mixtures with increasing GA-BA content are evaluated in terms of physical and mechanical properties according to the European Standard EN 14227-1. Grading of the mixtures and compressive strength are considered in order to assign a designation code for CE marking.
