In this work we report on the formation of metastable hydrogen-related structures in AuCu films (;70 mm) of various compositions prepared by electrodeposition. Incorporation of hydrogen was proved [1,2] to be linked to delayed embrittlement phenomena of large fundamental and application importance for electroforming of precious and other metals and alloys.
