Dynamic methods are a useful tool for health monitoring and structural identification of bridges. This particularly concerns structural identification due to its nature of inverse problem in vibration. This study discusses two applications with reference to a series of output-only vibration tests carried out on a new curved multi-span viaduct and on a class of existing twin arches bridges.

Abstract
Dynamic methods are a useful tool for health monitoring and structural identification of bridges. Experimental techniques are now well-established, but the interpretation of measurements requires some caution. This particularly concerns structural identification due to its nature of inverse problem in vibration. This study discusses two applications with reference to a series of output-only vibration tests carried out on a new curved multi-span viaduct and on a class of existing twin arches bridges.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
