The author shows that a succession of N random optical layers, whose optical index can assume only two values, allows for a perfect transmission (resonances) at fixed frequency values. The resonant frequencies are computed analytically for a generic probability distribution of disorder and for an arbitrary incidence angle. The arguments can be extended to probability distributions with more than two values.

Abstract
The author shows that a succession of N random optical layers, whose optical index can assume only two values, allows for a perfect transmission (resonances) at fixed frequency values. The resonant frequencies are computed analytically for a generic probability distribution of disorder and for an arbitrary incidence angle. The arguments can be extended to probability distributions with more than two values.File allegati a questo prodotto
