Gli atti direttivi nei foglietti illustrativi dei medicinali tedeschi

In this paper I analyze the directive speech acts of a corpus of German patient information leaflets for prescription medications. In particular, I describe with particular attention their different linguistic realizations and degree of directiveness. As a result, it can be stated that the imperative and "sollten" are the typical linguistic expressions of directiveness in this text genre in German, in contrast with other genres of the instructive category, which are characterized by the use of the infinitive form. Most importantly, a tendency to the desemantisation of the canonic forms of directiveness can be observed. It thus emerges that the difficult comprehensibility of information leaflets is determined not only by lexical and syntactic but also by pragmatic aspects.

Nello studio vengono analizzati gli atti direttivi di un corpus di foglietti illustrativi per medicinali tedeschi con obbligo di prescrizione. Nello specifico, ne vengono descritte le diverse forme di realizzazione linguistica nonché il grado di direttività. Un primo risultato evidenzia che l’imperativo e "sollten" si configurano come le formulazioni tipiche della direttività di questo genere testuale in tedesco, a differenza di altri generi testuali della categoria istruttiva, caratterizzati per lo più dall’uso dell’infinito. Più rilevante è l’emergere di una tendenza alla desemantizzazione delle forme canoniche della direttività che evidenzia come la difficile comprensibilità dei FI sia determinata anche da aspetti di natura pragmatica e non solo lessicale e sintattica.
