The female intimate hygiene sector has seen the production of a new cleanser based on natural extracts with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and freshening properties for women of child-bearing potential. The formulation with a pH of 4.5 is made up of Thymus vulgaris with antimicrobial activity, Calendula officinalis with a soothing action, a slow-release menthol derivative (menthyl ethylamido oxalate) with a freshening, non-abrasive action and xanthan gum which, thanks to its physicochemical properties and its hydrophilic colloid nature, prolongs the adhesion of the product in situ. The objective of this study was to compare the effects of use of this new intimate cleanser (SF) in daily protection compared with the usual cleanser used by the women.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to compare the effects of use of this new intimate cleanser (SF) in daily protection compared with the usual cleanser used by the women.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
