The author examines the outcome of the 2012 presidential election in the United States which confirmed Barack Obama at the White House for a second term. Although the result has not even remotely replicated the success of the 2008 consultation, the Republican Party has met, according to the author, some strategic mistakes that led to its defeat. The outcome of the election is a "Divided Government" which would allow Republicans to persevere in the practice of filibustering hindering the initiatives of the Obama administration.

Abstract
The author examines the outcome of the 2012 presidential election in the United States which confirmed Barack Obama at the White House for a second term. Although the result has not even remotely replicated the success of the 2008 consultation, the Republican Party has met, according to the author, some strategic mistakes that led to its defeat. The outcome of the election is a "Divided Government" which would allow Republicans to persevere in the practice of filibustering hindering the initiatives of the Obama administration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
