The issue deals with most relevant dynamics and institutional innovations in Germany in the period of time between January and September 2014, with an emphasis on some recent decisions of the Federal Constitutional Court about the role of the Head of State in the German constitutional system, and about the nature of the constitutional body which is in charge for his election.
L'articolo ripercorre le principali dinamiche ed innovazioni istituzionali in Germania nel periodo compreso tra gennaio e settembre 2014, ponendo l'accento su alcune recenti pronunce del Tribunale costituzionale federale circa il ruolo del Capo dello Stato nell'ordinamento tedesco e la natura del collegio preposto alla sua elezione.
