This contribution summarize our recent work devoted to detect and thermochemically characterise by KEMS experiments (Knudsen Effusion Mass Spectrometry) a number of diatomic gaseous molecules either never observed before or whose bond energy was unknown. The results obtained over the years for the intragroup 14 and the group 11-group 2 species are here collected and compared with quantum chemical calculations at the CCSD(T) level. © The Electrochemical Society.

Abstract
This contribution summarize our recent work devoted to detect and thermochemically characterise by KEMS experiments (Knudsen Effusion Mass Spectrometry) a number of diatomic gaseous molecules either never observed before or whose bond energy was unknown. The results obtained over the years for the intragroup 14 and the group 11-group 2 species are here collected and compared with quantum chemical calculations at the CCSD(T) level. © The Electrochemical Society.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
