We consider the nonlinear Schroedinger equation in dimension one with nonlinearity concentrated in a region around a finite number of points y_1, … ,y_n. If the region shrinks to the points, we prove that the solution converges to the solution of the nonlinear Schroedinger equation with nonlinearity concentrated in y_1, … ,y_n.
