Saluto al Convegno del Prof. Lanchester

Important scientific initiative, brings together some of the best-known scholars of the Schmitt’s work. The contributions: upon receiving Schmitt thought in Italy, France, Spain, Japan and the United States; on his idea of State; on its geopolitical conception; on his relationship with Marxism. The aim of the work is provide a detailed picture of the role of Carl Schmitt in the third millennium, in a historically situated perspective.The introduction of prof. Lanchester describes the contribution of the Faculty of Political Science of Rome to the understanding of thought Schmitt in the last 70 years

Iniziativa scientifica importante, riunisce alcuni degli studiosi più noti dell’opera schmittiana. I contributi si soffermano: sulla ricezione del pensiero schmittiano in Italia, Francia, Spagna, Giappone e negli Stati Uniti; sulla sua idea di Stato; sulla sua concezione geopolitica; sul suo rapporto con il marxismo. Il fine dell’opera e fornire un quadro articolato del ruolo di Carl Schmitt nel terzo millennio, in una prospettiva storicamente situata. L'introduzione del prof. Lanchester descrive il contributo dei docenti della Facoltà di Scienze politiche di Roma alla comprensione del pensiero schmittiano negli ultimi 70 anni
