Today welding overlay technology is largely used in chemical and petrol chemical implants which work at high pressure and high temperatures in gaseous hydrogen environments. Unfortunately in time, in these implants the disbonding damage is present and when it occurs the proper working of the structure is compromised. This phenomenon is usually investigated after damage by ultrasonic testing and metallurgical analysis. The authors have studied a new method of hydrogen damage analysis that is able to give an anticipatory analysis of hydrogen damage progress.

Abstract
Today welding overlay technology is largely used in chemical and petrol chemical implants which work at high pressure and high temperatures in gaseous hydrogen environments. Unfortunately in time, in these implants the disbonding damage is present and when it occurs the proper working of the structure is compromised. This phenomenon is usually investigated after damage by ultrasonic testing and metallurgical analysis. The authors have studied a new method of hydrogen damage analysis that is able to give an anticipatory analysis of hydrogen damage progress.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
