The first essay examines the autographs of Giovanni Boccaccio from the point of view of the various types of text content in them; later focuses on the choices of the form-book regarding Dante's Divine Comedy. Finally focuses the operation completed with the “edition” of the autograph Hamilton 90, confronted with the choices of material nature made by copyists of the oldest Decameron’s circulation.
Nel saggio ci sofferma dapprima sulle tipologie testuali degli autografi di Giovanni Boccaccio giunti fino a noi; in seguito si esaminano le sue scelte di forma-libro riguardanti l’opera della letteratura italiana che più amava, la Commedia dantesca; infine si mette a fuoco l’operazione grafico-ermeneutica portata a termine con la confezione dell’autografo decameroniano Hamilton 90, messa a confronto con le scelte di natura materiale compiute dai copisti della prima circolazione dell’opera.
