This paper deals with the elitarian Ottomanist ideology, focusing both on its weakness and on its goodwill. It analyses the mood towards Ottomanism of the major communities of the empire as well.
Questo contributo tratta dell'elitaria ideologia chiamata Ottomanismo, evidenziando sia la sua debolezza sia la sua nobiltà d'intenti. Analizza inoltre l'atteggiamento verso l'ideale ottomanista delle principali comunità dell'impero.
