Ethnography of the consumption of electronic dance music in two clubs in Rome, very different in music style, place image and structure. The comparison between the experiences of devoted club-goers allows to point out the connections among the aforementioned aspects and the models of participation and interactions through which –goers elaborate both the sense of places and their value as affording authentication or experimentation of self.
Analisi etnografica del consumo di musica dance elettronica in due club di Roma. Il confronto fra le esperienze dei frequentatori assidui dei due locali, assai diversi per stile musicale, immagine e strutturazione dello spazio, consente di evidenziare i nessi fra questi elementi e i modelli di partecipazione e interazione attraverso cui le persone elaborano il senso dei luoghi ed il loro valore in quanto promotori di autenticazione o sperimentazione del sé
