"Il Fatto Quotidiano" borned in 2009 and it emphasizes on the politic scandal, right and left parties. It was founded by Antonio Padellaro, with Marco Travaglio and Peter Gomez, journalists against Italian politicians and in particular Silvio Berlusconi. "Il Fatto Quotidiano" doesn’t receive public financing and it is an independent newspaper. Antonio Padellaro, editor in chief, declared: “The idea of this newspaper is Italian Constitution and we don’t have masters, we are free”.

Abstract

Turkish political crisis begins on 17th December with the arrests of the sons of three Ministers and other Turkish businessmen, charged with corruption’s accusation in the public’s contract. This arrests e this scandal in public’s view resulted to the citizen’s manifestation in the Istanbul. During the demonstrations, citizens asked that Erdogan should dimetted and it should be held other election. Instead the Turkish Prime Minister has mentioned this scandal as an “international conspiracion” and he decided to the reshuffling of the ten Ministers. Erdogan removed the police chiefs and he proposed a law against the judiciary power’s independence. But the most important point is that the Turkish Army has not intervented. However it could be observed an internal battle among two Islamic groups: on one side the Prime Minister and the other side the powerful and Islamic leader, Fetullah Gulen. Gulen is an important figure in the Middle East and, with his association “Hizmet”, he has many schools which Erdogan closed in the previous year. But this is a simplification because the Turkish situation is very complex: on the one hand they have problems with a pact of admission in European Union and Kurdish Party, on the other hand the presidential election in August is a great challenging for them. But in particular the devaluation of the Turkish lira is very important because Turkey is one of the countries in the economic expansion according to the "International Monetary Fund" (IMF). A British economist, Jim O’Neill, has coined the term MINT - Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Turkey - in order to differentiate among the variety of emerging economies. He plans to group this quartet as "growth markets" within the overall BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). In my research I analyzed how the Italian newspapers, in particular "Il Fatto Quotidiano", described Turkish political crisis. In general Italian attention about international facts is insufficient: Italian newspapers usually devote two or four pages on this subject.
