Abstract
It is not the first time that Italy and Milan in particular devote an exhibition at the Bauhaus, but compared to the initiatives of 1961 and 1981 this new event, held at the Fondazione Antonio Mazzotta from October 1996 to March 1997, had the merit not only to retrace the highlights of the years between 1919 and 1933, but mainly in order to reconstruct some philological "environments" that dominated the culture of the Bauhaus. In fact, starting from the preparation of the salt of the exhibition held in Weimar in 1923, with a strong popular impact, the reconstruction of some of the masters of the houses in Dessau made between the years 1925-1926, which complement the exhibition dedicated to architecture , furniture, decorative objects, paintings allow the visitor to relive an event that was beyond the experience of art history, one of the most extraordinary cultural experiences of this century.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
