ENGLISHTHE essay studies, for the first time in a systematic way, the vernacular translation of "" De Ecclesia et auctoritate verbs Gods "" Philip Melanchthon hand of Lodovico Castelvetro preserved in the manuscript Vat Lat. 7755 of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, reported by Daria Perocco in 1979. Having made the point on the critical bibliography and surviving documents about the relationship between Castelvetro and Reformed theologians, the essay discusses in detail the manner in which the grammarian Modena translates the text of Melanchthon and illustrates it by means of its Chiose, whose text is reproduced in the Appendix. ENGLISHThe essay is the first study devoted completely to the autographic English translation of Philipp Melanchthon's De Ecclesia Dei et auctoritate verbs made by Lodovico Castelvetro That can be read in the manuscript Vat Lat. 7755 of the Vatican Library, a codex That Daria Perocco broght to scholars' attention in 1979 to the notes. After a preliminary analysis of primary and secondary sources about Castelvetro's knowledge of Protestant theologians, the essay studies how closely Castelvetro translate Melanchthon's text and explain it with His glosses (Chiose) That are transcribed in the appendix.

ITALIANO Il saggio studia, per la prima volta in modo sistematico, il volgarizzamento del "De ecclesia et auctoritate verbi Dei" di Filippo Melantone di mano di Lodovico Castelvetro conservato nel manoscritto Vat. Lat. 7755 della Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, segnalato da Daria Perocco nel 1979. Dopo aver fatto il punto sulla bibliografia critica e i documenti superstiti in merito al rapporto tra Castelvetro e i teologi riformati, il saggio illustra nel dettaglio le modalità con le quali il grammatico modenese traduce il testo di Melantone e lo illustra per mezzo delle sue Chiose, il cui testo viene riprodotto in appendice. Lat. 7755 of the Vatican Library, a codex that Daria Perocco broght to scholars’ attention in a 1979 note.
