Urban agriculture phenomenon has different impacts on urban regeneration strategies in developed countries. Besides the possibility of recovering blight areas in urban and periurban contexts, the most interesting effects of implementation of these projects is connected to the social inclusion value, with new possible relationships in the fragmented contemporary communities. The case study of "New Roots Community Farm" in San Diego, California is presented confirming this interpretation.
