Integrins are a family of heterodimeric αβ receptors which mediate cell adhesion to extracellular matrix components and cell to cell interactions. NK cells are a small subpopulation of cytotoxic lymphocytes that constitutively lyse, directly or in an antibody-dependent manner (ADCC), a variety of virus or intracellular bacteria-infected cells as well as tumor cells. In recent years, a rapid accumulation of data has demonstrated that NK cells express integrin receptors which play a pivotal role in the regulation of NK cell functions, such as adhesion, cytotoxic activity, cytokine and chemokine production and migration.

Abstract
Integrins are a family of heterodimeric αβ receptors which mediate cell adhesion to extracellular matrix components and cell to cell interactions. NK cells are a small subpopulation of cytotoxic lymphocytes that constitutively lyse, directly or in an antibody-dependent manner (ADCC), a variety of virus or intracellular bacteria-infected cells as well as tumor cells. In recent years, a rapid accumulation of data has demonstrated that NK cells express integrin receptors which play a pivotal role in the regulation of NK cell functions, such as adhesion, cytotoxic activity, cytokine and chemokine production and migration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
