Nuovi scavi e analisi integrate di materiali ceramici e litici consentono di ampliare la base di dati sul problema della neolitizzazione dell’Italia centrale adriatica. Si presentano i primi risultati dello studio del sito di Portonovo-Fosso Fontanaccia (AN), che riveste un’importanza particolare per il tipo di strutture che sono venute alla luce e che rappresentano un unicum nell’ambito del neolitico italiano.
