Outline of the studies and perspectives on the topic of "fashion" and of its most significant values in everyday life: from Lévi-strauss's to Flugel's to Veblen and Baudrillard's studies fashion is analyzed in order to show its different faces, the consummerism and the status symbol aspects. Fashion advertisment and its relevance in everyday life are also examined both in the magazines and the TV advertising.

Outline degli studi antropologici sulle valenze della moda analizzata sullo sfondo delle diverse prospettive dei più accreditati studiosi del tema, da Lévi-Strauss a Flugel a Veblen a Baudrillard. La moda è analizzata sulla base di associazioni binarie moda/usura e moda/staus symbol. Vengono anche esaminate le ricadute sul consumo della moda dovute alla pubblicità cartacea e televisiva.
