Fare e insegnare biblioteca: un percorso in comune

The article concerns the courses of “Teoria e tecniche della cata- logazione e della classificazione” and “Organizzazione informatica delle biblioteche” at the University of Pisa. Since 2002 these courses have been held by the University of Pisa Faculty of Arts in collaboration with the University of Pisa Library System; Alberto Petrucciani is the official professor of the courses and Renato Tamburrini is responsible for the Library System. This cooperative experience is very advantageous for both parties concerned since teaching stimulates librarians’ professional skills and at the same time technical courses are useful to students.
