Thirty patients with hypophysial adenoma in the initial stage have been examìned. The following examinations were carried out: visuaI acuity, ocular fundus, visual field by means of Goldmann' perimeter, computerized visual field (wìthìn 20° from fixation point ). It could be ascertained that by integrating the two methods related to the visual field a high positivity was obtained in hypophysial adenoma together with the possibility of monitoring the evolution of the neoplasia, thus facilitating the therapeutic measures.

Abstract
