Does CEO Core Self Evaluation afford the level of corporate entrepreneurship in the organization? The upper echelons theory has defined core self evaluation as how individuals evaluate themselves, their abilities, and their relationship to the environment in which they operate, and has studied the consequences of this personal trait on strategic decisions as well as on company performances, but hasn’t achieved to systematically analyze the effects of CEO core self evaluation on organizational behavior. Following these streams of research, we attempt at investigating how CEO core self evaluation, widely studied in strategic management, impacts corporate entrepreneurship. This research may contribute to better understanding the influence of CEO personality on firm’s organization under a key perspective (corporate entrepreneurship). Nevertheless, the external contribution deals with the attempt to detect management control systems aiming at measuring CEO core self evaluation positive impact on firm’s corporate entrepreneurship and its attitude to innovate.

Abstract
