The sanctuary of Apollo Hyperteleatas, located within the peninsula of Parnone, is a place of extraordinary importance for his good quality bronzes. Pausanias only (III, 22.10), between the literary sources, mentions it. After a quick review of the findings classified by type, a division into three chronological periods corresponding to the various categories of objects is proposed. A more detailed presentation of the sanctuary in the Archaic period is giving considering some inscriptions of archaic and classical periods. As it can be deduced from them, the sanctuary was frequented by people of high rank, and had contacts with Cyrene. A brief reference to the later periods completes this article.

Abstract
A brief reference to the later periods completes this article.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
