Solidità come solidarietà. Verso un nuovo senso del noi nel terzo millennio

This paper starts from the need to rediscover solidarity and social sustainability to return the identity at the subject and at it's community. The opposite of liquidity is solidity; solidarity comes from this word, as if she were the antidote to the fragmented society of our times. It doesn't exist development of individuality if not from the recognition of what we have in common. If we were fully integrated, it would not be personal identity, but even if we were totally isolated there would not be too personal identity, because the identity is the munus (the gift) of communitas. This would mean recognize he self implicated in the other, and from this original debt can design their difference. So, there is a need, more than ever, identity, as there is need to the future. A future trapped in the roles and social conventions, which often act as a cage rather than from "optimizer" of relationships and energies.

Questo contributo parte dalla necessità di riscoprire la solidarietà e la sostenibilità sociale per restituire l’identità al soggetto e alla sua comunità di appartenenza. Il contrario di liquidità è solidità, parola da cui proviene solidarietà, quasi che essa fosse l'antidoto alla società disgregata dei nostri tempi. Non c'è sviluppo di individualità se non a partire dal riconoscimento di ciò che abbiamo in comune. Se fossimo totalmente integrati non ci sarebbe identità personale, ma anche se fossimo totalmente isolati non ci sarebbe ugualmente identità personale: perché l'identità è il munus (il dono) della communitas, cioè è il riconoscersi implicati negli altri, e a partire da questo debito originario elaborare la propria differenza. C’è bisogno, più che mai di identità, dunque, come c’è bisogno di futuro. Un futuro ingabbiato nei ruoli e nelle convenzioni sociali, che spesso funzionano da gabbia più che da “ottimizzatore” di relazioni e di energie.
