The nonlinear damping of plasma zonal flows were studied which were excited by inverse spectral transfer. The plasma zonal flow is a spectral condensation onto the zero-frequency linear-wave structure. The zonal modes were excited on both unstable and purely stable eigenmode branches. The collision-less trapped electron mode (CTEM) turbulence in magnetically confined plasmas were examined.

Abstract
The nonlinear damping of plasma zonal flows were studied which were excited by inverse spectral transfer. The plasma zonal flow is a spectral condensation onto the zero-frequency linear-wave structure. The zonal modes were excited on both unstable and purely stable eigenmode branches. The collision-less trapped electron mode (CTEM) turbulence in magnetically confined plasmas were examined.File allegati a questo prodotto
