The central issue/focus/aim of this article is if Economics may contribute to analyze questions, also imperative ones, such as the definition of rules determining the conditions among which a subject can dispose of his life or of his body. The article will answer to this question throughout the logical categories and tools of economic analysis. The raising of the level of awareness of a given choice adds elements of evaluation that can enhance choice benefits and reduce individual and social costs. To legislate or simply to apply laws in contests dealing with human life is a very cumbersome process of evaluation and choice, a process that is not impossible and in any case necessary. Without these kind of choices there wouldn’t be human development. The quality of these decisions depends on the methodology used to make them. In this paper it is argued that an important contribution may come from economics and from its logical references.

Abstract
In this paper it is argued that an important contribution may come from economics and from its logical references.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
