Instead of accepting Michael Dear’s perspective that meritoriously lingers on the potential of the in-between people, I understand the wall from a different perspective which leads me to believe that walls work, and work well too. In my opinion, walls work (in their own way) as devices of power, capable of shifting the focus of policy and public debate. If it is difficult to support or dispute the costs of such a complex structure, it even more difficult to develop or oppose government immigration policies.

Abstract
Instead of accepting Michael Dear’s perspective that meritoriously lingers on the potential of the in-between people, I understand the wall from a different perspective which leads me to believe that walls work, and work well too. In my opinion, walls work (in their own way) as devices of power, capable of shifting the focus of policy and public debate. If it is difficult to support or dispute the costs of such a complex structure, it even more difficult to develop or oppose government immigration policies.File allegati a questo prodotto
