The hill Vomero of Naples before the urbanization of the late nineteenth century consisted primarily an agricultural area with few rural villages lying along the main connecting roads the hill to the city below. In the eighteenth century were built the first villas of a wealthy middle class which on the hill found the ideal place to spend periods of holiday. This type of construction is strengthened especially in the early years of the nineteenth century, when it was open the street Corso Vittorio Emanuele that delimited the hill with its panoramic path . The paper proposes to read the traces of the past through the architectures and the ancient paths that can still be found in a the texture urban expanded considerably and disorderly, in the belief that the documentation is the first step to start processes for the protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage of a place.

Хълмът Vomero на Неапол преди урбанизацията на края на деветнадесети век се състоеше предимно земеделска площ с няколко селата, разположени по основните свързващи пътища на хълма в града по-долу. През осемнадесети век са построени първите вили на богата средна класа, която на хълма идеалното място да прекарат периоди на почивка. Този тип строителство се засилва особено в ранните години на деветнайсети век, когато е бил отваряне на улица Corso Vittorio Emanuele, че разграничена на хълм с панорамна пътя си. Документът предлага да чете следите от миналото през архитектури и древни пътища, които все още могат да бъдат намерени в текстурата градски разшири значително и безредно, с убеждението, че документацията е първата стъпка, за да започнат процесите за защита и опазване на културното наследство на място.
