Objective of the study is to clarify the existing relations between the family and social isolation of older people or very old and their health, with consideration of individual characteristics (age, sex, married life, social environment .) and socio-relational (activity status, social participation, etc.), from the data of the survey HID: family and social isolation can affect the health of people, which in turn can have a significant effect on the participation sociale.De this point of view, the number of years that an individual can expect to live in good health, a central element in the current debate on the revision of social systems in Europe, should be analyzed in terms of socio-demographic determinants.
Objectif de l'étude est d’éclairer les relations existantes entre l’isolement social et familial des individus âgés ou très âgés et leur état de santé, avec la prise en compte des caractéristiques individuelles (âge, sexe, vie en couple, milieu social) et socio-relationnelles (statut d’activité, participation sociale etc.), à partir des données de l'enquete HID : l’isolement familial et social peut influencer l’état de santé des personnes, qui à son tour peut avoir un effet important sur la participation sociale. De ce point de vue, le nombre d’année que l’individu peut espérer de vivre en bonne santé, élément central dans le débat actuel sur la révision des systèmes sociaux en Europe, devrait être analysé en fonction des ses déterminants socio-démographiques.
